Welcome to the Spring Edition
of the
LVH-EM Newsletter!
We hope that this newsletter finds all of you happy and healthy throughout the winter season. It's time for an update on what's happening in the Lehigh Valley Emergency Medicine Residency. First and foremost is the residency's transcendence into a dual accredited program. This year has been a preparation for that change including a site visit by ACGME as well as transformation of the program, to begin in this upcoming year’s residency class, to a 1-4 yr program, with the reorganization of the traditional internship. There will be many more changes to come, all of which are in process and have yet to be solidified. Our program directors, staff, and coordinators have been working diligently to bring us one of the finest Emergency Medicine programs in the country. We look forward to moving from "the best Osteopathic program", to simply
"the best program" in the country.
